Our Year 6 class has been working hard on a project in computing to raise money for Food Bank Aid.

We are doing this by selling a variety of old toys, bracelets, and origami.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been learning how websites work, and thanks to the help of a parent in our class who works for Shopify, we’ve created our own online shop to sell these items.

We have all decided prices for our items, and learnt how managing a online shop really is, and along with the help of our Shopify worker/parent and our teacher for organising this all, we have built a website to sell our old toys.

We have all worked very hard to complete it and we all hope you enjoy.

  • Food Bank Aid distributes food, toiletries and household goods to 32 food banks across north London and Herts from Watford to Tottenham and everywhere in-between.

    They support food banks in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow, Herts and Islington which, in turn, help approximately 20,000 people including 5000 children every week.

    They are a community-led charity which supports all denominations and demographics.
